There is nothing wrong with a bit of a lull in the message board activity. I can see most of us are still logging on to check things out, but not posting. There is nothing wrong with that.

However, I do worry about our fellow MD3-ites who are not registered with the Pent Talk message board. As we get closer to the Pent, this will probably be the meeting point for getting all the information out there.

Therefore, I propose that we begin an "Adopt an MD3-ite" program. Everyone on the message board will choose a member of the club who has yet to discover our little secret and encourage, nag and pester them until they register and start posting. In addition to keeping everyone in the loop, it should be a nice way to breath new life into the message board.

I will begin the proceedings by adopting Jay Kerr.

Perhaps the true meaning of this exercise is being misinterpreted. We are trying to get the people who aren't "active" members of the message board to get involved. Thus, even though Jay and Niki are technically registered, they've never even come on one time. Same goes for Juli.

Davey, it's admirable that you want to adopt 2 MD3-ites, but you really only need to adopt one. That way, there will be other "orphans" for everyone else to adopt.
