MD3 Invitational Penathlon 13. He and Jon Kirk were tied at the top of the overall standings after the five scheduled events. The championship was decided in a tiebreaker game of darts.
Matthew Carlins finished third in the overall standings. The medal winners were Jon Kirk in foosball, He Whose Name Shall Not Be Spoken He Whose Name Shall Not Be Spoken in corn hole and All-Conditions Bocce, Dave Whipkey in The Mysterious Putting Game and Matthew Carlins in beer pong.

I guess that means you're the second loser. You can't even be the number 1 loser. Is it an oxymoron to say, "You even fail at losing."? I bet sports columnists would have a way to tweak this to make it sound acceptable.
