| I have to vent.. It may not make any sense but the Bills REALLY disappointed me this weekend. Then I thought back and did some thinking so look out!
(disclaimer: this is a rant so it may not make a damn bit of sense)
Now Ive been a Bills fan for quite some time. Up until they hired Marv Levy as the GM (aka Brutus the dog as the MD3 President) I thought they wanted to win.. gave it the old heave ho to the bad and useless players and at least TRIED to bring in new possibly talented players around free agency / the draft (SEE Bryce Paup, SEE Takeo Spikes).
Not anymore.. those days are gone. gone gone GONE. Marv comes in to change the Donahoe regime and drafts/signs.. (in an old man voice) "those nice boys that play marbles down the street on the corner next to the nickle and dime barber shop".
Up until last year when we got Stroud (dont get too excited) our idea of a SPLASH in free agency was Larry Tripplett. The Colts crappy excuse for a turd DT that resembled that of a slow fat girl. Dont let me stop at Larry Tripplett.. lets see.. oh.. instead of cutting our DEAD WEIGHT we sign our third string starter (I know oxymoron, but its true!) white guy Defensive End to a $25 million dollar contract when he hasnt done anything the entire time he has been here! The guy is as slow as frozen jello. The second a running back puts the initial juke on him, the runningback is 30 yards downfield and hes sucking his finger sitting on the ground and crying for more money. THEN, you have the other (im not paid enough white guy that pretends hes black guy on the other end) "defensive end" that wants MORE money because the front office paid the first guy more and this guy does "slightly more" than the other "defensive end".
The news breaks that Ralph Wilson LOVES the tonka trucks and go carts and big buildings he saw in Toronto and hes excited that games will be played there instead of in Buffal-o. Again with the old man voice - "I saw buildings and trucks and peanuts and oh my oh dear". DAH! Ralphie is starting to sound like the owner in Major League that wanted the Indians to do so poorly that they HAD to relocate to Miami? wait a minute-----
Now Ralphie "poopie pants" Wilson talks about keeping the team in Buf-falo but doesnt know if the "Economy" aka "his familys WALLET, and his mental MEDS costs" can afford to stay. YET he will not sell the team to the likes of Golisano / Jim Kelly / Thurman Thomas / and friends because hes still alive and as long as hes alive and has the ability to destroy what he built so be it!
This year: Our idea of a SPLASH in free agency is a backup QB from the SH!@TTIEST team in the AFC Central - er north.. the BUNGLES. Thats right Ryan Fitzpatrick. THEN our next big splash.. ready? Backup center from the CAROLINA Panthers.. oh but he can play guard too.. hee hee!
As I type this messy diatribe, the B-uffalo news continues to leak stories that the Bills may get Laverneous Coles. Trying to keep our hopes alive while Coles goes... "Hell No! I aint playin for Buffa-lo!" - he said that to me when I talked to him in Florida as I was ringing him out at footlocker. Hes waiting to see if Housh is let go from the Bungles so he can play for - you got it - ANYONE ELSE.
I cant help it! I want to hate this team I REALLY lose sleep over their incompetence in the upper "management". I just cant. I cant do it. I can fume and smolder and wish bad things but in the end, it wont matter. When the team is finally sold and moves to another city because of Ralphs ignorant truck loving stupidity.. I will still follow them.
Toronto.. Winnepeg... Greece (they have a colloseum)...
Now I wait for the team to get sold. Hoping sooner than later for the sake of watching a product thats worth my time.
Hell the Cardinals have even made the Super Bowl... The Browns will be next... then Detroit.
We are the Pirates of the NFL.
Minor League esc.. and a farm team.
GO BILLS! | |

| Ok, I understand that Bills fans such as Davey are loathing the idea of T.O....but I have just one question, you can't get any worse than already being a loser. I'm not being mean, I'm just taking the argument that second place is nothing more than the first loser. You can't argue that T.O. isn't a talent. He drops some balls, but he also makes some plays. I look at it from the standpoint of using the proper tools. You don't use a wrench to pound in a nail, so simply use T.O. to his strengths. Run him underneath to either help loosen up the running lanes or to let Evans get deep. He does have a mouth in the locker room, but it's a mouth that is only signed to a one year contract....and lets face it, the Bills as they stand now are not exactly at the top of their division. The Patriots get Brady back next year, the Dolphins still have a year of "Big Tuna Brillance" making player decisions and the Jets have solidified their defense so far this off-season. The Bill's had to do something....is it great, no, but are they "talent wise" better than they were last week, yes..... I'm pretty sure that even though they won't be buying Jersey's anytime soon, Davey and Jen will be shouting "Run you beautiful S.O.B..." at the tv when he catches a swing pass in the flat and takes it to the house. | |

| Davey, I agree that the James Hardy line was classic..and yes, over the weekend you did say every single thing Hitler said. But the absolute best line: "I will get my popcorn ready". Funny observation: Ralph Wilson is Jewish, right? Just saying... | |

I was thinking to myself... "Did matte send my texts to someone?" I even told Tina that yesterday! I really thought you made that damnable funny thing. Jack: In the words of Ricky Bobby and his dad: Ricky Bobby: "Dad you said if I wasnt first I was last!" Ricky's Dad: "Hell Ricky, I was HIGH when I said that!" Are you High Jack?

| "I'm all hopped up on Mt. Dew, Chip." "I will come over this table and sisscor-kick you in the head, Chip." Davey, In all honesty you're going to have to go "jedi" and "let go of the hate"... This is not the T.O. you are looking for, Davey. | |

| Honestly, I say they cut Cutler loose. The man has talent for sure, but I rank him right up there with Philip Rivers as far as attitude goes. I like my QB's calm-cool and collected. Send him to Detroit for the number 1 overall pick in the draft, then trade it away for multiple 2nd and 3rd round picks, build the defense and then bring in "Garthia" as the stop gap during the rebuliding year. I'll take a New England coach over a hyper-sensitive player anyday. I mean come on, awwww, your feelings are hurt.....you get millions to play a stinking game! Strap on a pair and hit the field you whiny lil baby.... | |

| Sounds good to me...I haven't seen a quality franchise quarterback in Tampa Bay since the early days of Trent Dilfer. Hey Davey, doesn't he have a Super Bowl ring too? | |

| Thanks to a never before seen destructive defense that if given the chance could have brought on the end of the world and a VERY good running game...
Coach: Trent, all you have to do is hand off and do nothing else, I know we havent scored in 18 quarters, just let the defense do it all.
Oh and Rob Jockstrap getting a ring with Tampa? Doesnt count, he played 1 snap that year. Im discrediting him. Doesnt matter what you say, I will NEVER EVER acknowledge that he got a ring, even if you cut off his hand and bring it to me with the ring still on it and the blood still flowing.
