Non-sanctioned MD3 Hiking/Backpaking Week(end)

Just wanted to throw this out there. It seems like MD3 events have dwindled in the last couple years and I thought this would be a fun way for some of use to get together.

Anybody interested? For those of you who don't actually want to brave the terrain, we could always have people travel ahead and set up camp for us.

Just thought this would be an inexpensive way for people to spend some of there vacation time next year (I don't plan on organizing a Sunset Beach trip in 2008)

Of course if noboby wants to go hiking we could always go camping.

Here are a couple of local trails that I thought we could look into. Been on sections of a couple. PA Grand Canyon is a little further away, but I hear it's worth the trip.

Amanda and I will go camping wherever, and we have the tent that sleeps 20, so if anyone else needs room, you are more than welcome to stay in Casa de Campo Lasky

Actually, we have used the tent a few times after that fateful day, and we have not had any problems....do this mean that you and Jill will be coming to the Post Holiday Party? Our party and the Groundhog Day party of yours will not overlap?

I'm either going to have it the following weekend, have just a small gathering or not have it this year at all.

Seeing as time is running out for invites, it will probably be one of the latter.
